Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Effective date: 26 October 2026
1. Who provides the service
ItalianCodiceFiscale.com is operated by Starne Consulting LLC, doing business as The Italian Bureau (“we”, “us” or “our”). We provide a paid document-preparation and filing-coordination service for applications relating to an Italian Codice Fiscale.
We are not the Agenzia delle Entrate or another Italian government authority. The Codice Fiscale is issued by the Italian state. Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to apply directly through an Italian authority without paying a private service provider. Our fee covers preparing the application, coordinating the filing through our Italian partner, providing status updates and delivering the result.
2. What the service includes
After payment, we review the information and documents you provide, prepare the forms that require your signature and give you access to them through your secure order page. You must sign and return the required forms before we can submit the application. We or our assigned Italian filing partner then submit the application to the Agenzia delle Entrate and deliver the issued Codice Fiscale to you.
3. Processing times
The processing time for your selected service begins only after we receive and verify your correctly signed forms and all required documents. Processing times are stated in business days and exclude weekends and configured Italian public holidays or office closures.
The displayed time is an estimate based on the selected service and normal authority processing. We do not guarantee an exact issue or delivery date because the Agenzia delle Entrate controls issuance and may experience delays, closures or requests for additional information. We will notify you if we become aware of a material delay or need more information from you.
4. Your responsibilities
You must provide complete and accurate information that matches the applicant’s official documents. You must upload clear, genuine and current supporting documents and sign every required form correctly. If you apply for a minor, deceased person or another person you legally represent, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and will provide the required evidence.
You are responsible for delays caused by missing, incorrect, inconsistent, unsigned or unreadable information or documents.
5. Prices and payment
The price shown at checkout is the price for the selected processing service. Digital delivery is included. Any optional courier delivery or other paid option is shown before payment. Payment is collected when the order is submitted through our payment processor.
If information supplied by you is incorrect or does not match the supporting documents and we must correct and prepare the application again, a €47 correction fee may apply. We will explain the problem and request payment before carrying out the paid correction.
6. Cancellation and refunds
The refund depends on the stage reached when we receive your cancellation request:
- 100% refund if you cancel before we send you the completed documents for signature.
- 70% refund if you cancel after we send the completed documents but before you upload or otherwise return the signed documents.
- 50% refund if you cancel after you upload or otherwise return the signed documents, provided the application has not yet been submitted to the Agenzia delle Entrate.
- No refund after the application has been submitted to the Agenzia delle Entrate, even if the Codice Fiscale has not yet been issued or delivered.
Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation, withdrawal or refund right that cannot legally be excluded. If you expressly ask us to begin providing the service during a statutory withdrawal period and later withdraw, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work already performed, where permitted by law. If the service is fully performed after your prior express request and acknowledgement, your withdrawal right may end to the extent permitted by law.
7. Communications and secure access
We communicate through email and your secure order page. You are responsible for providing a working email address, checking spam or junk folders and keeping your secure order link private. Anyone with that link may be able to access your application.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain and protect personal information and documents. It forms part of these Terms.
9. Limits outside our control
We are responsible for providing our service with reasonable care. We are not responsible for delays or refusal caused by the Agenzia delle Entrate, incorrect information supplied by you, failure to return signed documents, public holidays, office closures or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
